G Douglas Barrett
Performer & Theorist
G Douglas Barrett works on music and contemporary art as a practitioner and theorist. He is published in Mosaic, Tacet, Glissando, Postmodern Culture and Contemporary Music Review and is the author of After Sound: Toward a Critical Music (Bloomsbury, 2016). Barrett has been a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude and an artist-in-residence at USF Verftet (Norway), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Catwalk Institute (New York) and Tinos Quarry Platform (Greece). This fall he will join the faculty at Salisbury University, in Maryland, as Assistant Professor of Communication Arts.
