What makes artistic collaboration work?
Listening, discussing and thinking; but mostly listening. And then it’s of course the experience of playing concerts/pieces in different places, different contexts, that gives density and life to what we do.
What would be important for you when curating a concert?
We build our concert programs according to many criteria. One is that we aim only to present works of the highest quality whenever possible, not following fashion. And, of course, presenting works from as wide a range of composers as possible. But there are many other criteria, often also practical ones along with them.
Which skill, that you’ve learned by playing in an ensemble, helps you in everyday life?
Understanding that different viewpoints can and should coexist.
