Fluxus/ Saxophone /Dé-coll/âge

Through the interpretation of the piece ‚Dé-coll/âgé‘ for soprano saxophone, tibetan bowl and movement (2019) by the Spanish-Portuguese composer Inés Badalo (Olivenza, Spain), I will make an introduction to the musical work of the german artist Wolf Vostell (1932-1998).

Also, a brief overview will be presented on the general aspects of the Fluxus Musical Aesthetic, it’s philosophical foundations, and the special relevance of Wolf Vostell in the conception of this artistic movement.

Before playing, I will explain the connection between Inés Badalo’s Saxophone piece and the Fluxus Aesthetic, especially regarding the Dé-coll/age technique inspired by Vostell.
