How do you practice listening?

Doing something like „practice listening“ is completely strange to me. I just listen.

Is your music fundamentally different from pop music?

I don‚t think in terms of categories like „pop music“ or other categories to differentiate types of music from one another. I‘m more interested in what my music has in common with others. But my experience is that my music sounds different from a lot of the music I usually listen to. 

What can disturb (your) music?

A characteristic of my music lies, among other things, in its ability to create an inner and outer space for concentration and shared listening, for both, the musicians and the audience. There are many ways in which this space can be disrupted, obstructed, and destroyed. But the other way around: I am more interested to learn about the facts and the conditions for making my music possible.
