Born in 1990 in Russia. Darya Zvezdina is a composer, improvisor, performer. From 2011 to 2013 she studied musical composition at Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatoire with Olga Viktorova. Between 2013 and 2018 Zvezdina studied at Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Kasparov and Alexey Sioumak. She is Laureate of international and all-Russian composer competitions and student of the Fourth and the Eighth International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky City, as well as Kalvfestivalen composition academy in Kalv/Sweden. She took part in many composers masterclasses. Her works were performed by russian and foreign ensembles and performers, included MCME, Studio for new music, Mimitabu ensemble, cellist Anton Lukoszevieze, composers from Wandelweiser group and others.
Since 2014 Zvezdina takes an active part in Moscow improvisational scene. In 2019 she and Andrey Guryanov created an impro band called logs.
