The opening day of the Darmstadt Summer Course 2025 concludes with three artists who have all been guests at the Darmstadt Atelier Elektronik: Robert Lippok in 2014, Antye Greie-Ripatti and Cedrik Fermont in 2018. In addition to their live sets at Centralstation, they are also active in this year‘s festival. Robert Lippok, one of the artists to design the German Pavilion at last year’s Venice Biennale, is leading the exhibition project "Situations: Kunsthalle“. Antye Greie-Ripatti and Cedrik Fermont are responsible for the third edition of our residency program ”Sonic Writing & Soundings", bringing together young electronic musicians from the Global South for a week-long workshop. As may be expected, the music will be experimental and ‛crispy' when the three follow one another in taking over the mixing desk.
