Not safety, but space for vulnerability and quiet intensity.

How do I handle music’s history?

I work with remnants of Japanese traditional chant and ritual, allowing them to breathe still, with care, longing, respect or awe. First, I go back as far as possible and try to live in that age – thinking of it as if recalling a life I once lived.
