Lukas Nowok

Through his constant collaboration with internationally renowned sound artists, composers, collectives and ensembles of contemporary music, sound art and performing arts, Lukas Nowok has contributed to the development and realization of countless concerts, operas, theater performances, audiovisual installations, radio plays and hybrid formats at venues and festivals around the world; always driven by the search for expressive possibilities of new and old technologies.

As a performer of electroacoustic music, programmer and sound designer, Lukas Nowok has worked intensively with artists such as Sara Glojnarić, Chaya Czernowin, Brigitta Muntendorf, Anda Kryeziu, Marcus Schmickler, Manos Tsangaris and many others.
From 2016 to 2020 he was part of the SWR Experimentalstudio, a laboratory and touring ensemble for contemporary music with live electronics. He is also a founding member of the music theater collective Matter of Facts Studio, with which he has dedicated himself to experimental formats in music theater, installation art, workshops and concerts since 2021. He has been a member of Ensemble Recherche since 2023.
