Małgorzata Walentynowicz
Tutor "Trigger It Yourself" at the Piano Studio
Born in 1979 in Gdańsk. Małgorzata Walentynowicz graduated in Gdańsk, Hannover and Stuttgart under Nicolas Hodges. She actively engages in multimedia projects, exploring the connections between technology, visual art, performance and music. She performed at prestigious festivals, including Warsaw Autumn, MaerzMusik, Musica Strasbourg, Ultraschall, ECLAT, Mixtur, Rainy Days, Klangspuren, Gaudeamus Muziekweek, ISCM, SPOR, Klang, Acht Brücken, Sacrum Profanum, Ostrava Days among others. Walentynowicz won the Gaudeamus Interpreters’ Competition and the Yvar Mikhashoff Trust for New Music Competition (NY), received a distinction at Darmstadt International Summer Course and was nominated for the Classical Innovation Award in Rotterdam. She is a doctor habilitated of art. Currently she performs with Ensemble Garage and New European Ensemble in The Hague.
In 2025, Walentynowicz will be working as a tutor for the first time as part of the Darmstadt Summer Course.
