„Collaborating with Technology“ – Interpreting Multimedia Compositions

Giving an overview from the repertoire of the project „Movement to Sound, Sound to Movement“ for piano and multimedia, Rei Nakamura will talk about interpretation; what it is that we interpret, how to approach these pieces and what kind of different ‚instrumentations‘ have been created. You will take a look at the background, the process of work, from composition till it comes on stage. I will show different types of click tracks, its alternative, and how the piece modifies through collaboration.
