Deconstructive Music

This is a presentation/open discussion of my conceptualizations of the ideas and parameters of gesture as seen in examples of my own compositions and those of who I have spent considerable research with as a music theorist. The sound worlds/interests that would be discussed are uses of indeterminacy, manipulation of rhythmic and overall morphology through “planned obsolescence” of time, and the idea of overall existence of musical language as moving through a hierarchy of perception unique to the individual. We can also just stare at each other for an hour and say academic words.
