Miss Darmstadt 2023

Miss Darmstadt 2023 is a site-specific speculative durational improvised performance meditation on the nature of the beauty pageant. In this first of at least two stagings, we will spend approximately half an hour—or vastly more, depending on the participants' physical and mental stamina—judging each other in a variety of competitive categories. (If time remains, we can then judge ourselves.) The identity of Miss Darmstadt 2023 will be revealed at the conclusion of the performance.
