Studied Musicology, History of Art and Philosophy at Philipps University Marburg. After his academic studies curator for different exhibitions (e.g. 1995/96 „From Kranichsteim into the presence. 50 Years Darmstadt Summer Course“, 1996 Retrospective Mary Bauermeister). From 1997 project manager at the International Music Institute Darmstadt, where he was head of the archive and deputy director from 2001 to July 2024.
