Sounds have always been said to have a healing effect: from the deep frequencies of the earth’s magnetic field to solfeggio tones, which are said to release inner blockages and promote spiritual awakening. But caring is more than just vibration. It is human attention, it requires taking time for empathy.
In Eure Welt [Your World], Marc Behrens and Hannes Seidl take the audience on a sonic journey through various sound systems of healing frequencies. Inside the car designed by the artists, the audience can take a seat in the back seat and experience the power of the sounds for themselves. While the sounds carefully envelop the audience, conversations with people from outpatient care and sound therapy build a bridge to the world beyond the windows.
