Daniel Weissberg

Composer

Born in Bâle. He studied piano with Klaus Linder and composition with Jacques Wildberger at the Bâle Conservatory. Subsequently studies with Mauricio Kagel. He was an assistant to Mauricio Kagel at the Musikhochschule Köln. His work includes solo and chamber music as well as orchestral works, radio plays, electronic music, multimedia projects and works in the field of new music theater. As an interpreter of electroacoustic music, he performs primarily in his own works and in improvisation ensembles. He is a publicist and was a co-director of the Music and Media Arts program at the Bern Academy of the Arts.
